Weighing just 6–7 pounds, Archer was born in rescue on May 12 and has been thriving alongside his littermates. This curious little guy loves exploring new toys, making friends, and curling up for cozy nap times when playtime winds down. With his bright eyes and happy personality, Archer is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags to a family who will love and nurture him as he grows. Archer is great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and he’s been doing well in a pen with his siblings. He’s making good progress using potty pads and, like most young pups, hasn’t started house or leash training yet—but he’s eager to learn! Archer would make a perfect match for someone looking to add a fun-loving, loyal companion to their home. With a little guidance and a lot of love, he’s sure to become a cherished member of the family. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
