Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Meet Cowboy Omelet! This happy boy is about 2 months old and 5 lbs. He’s a total love bug. Cuddling is #1 followed by toys and snacks. He’s from a litter of 7 (the Brunch Bunch!) and was lucky to have his mom in the picture to show him the ropes (she’s a 26lbs wire hair terrier). He’s used to being around dogs, cats and kids of all ages. He adores his human buddies so he’d be fine as a solo pup too! Apply today to add some big smiles to your life! His adoption fee is $300. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
