Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff (short coat). Online Adoption Application Romeo was surrendered to us, family was moving and could not take him. He is 10 years old and we just got him neutered and a mass removal on his ball LOL. It was not cancerous. He is a very good, but very strong boy. You gotta watch him when out because he will just bang into the gate where it will open and slowly walk out. He isnt trying to leave, just likes to wander. LOL. He is good with other dogs, he basically ignores them, even chihuahuas barking at him, he does nothing. He is great with kids and all people. He is a big mush that just wants to be with a family. Loves the couch or a comfy bed./ He has beautiful coloring. This boy has plenty of life in him, wonderful dog with a heart of gold. Completely house broken.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
