Dog Breed: Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). KASH is the cutest little redhead. He's a long and low chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua)-type mixed breed boy, about 4 years old and fully grown at 16 pounds. We suspect Kash may have a little pug in his family tree as well. Kash is a sweet playful boy who loves his toys and playtime. He came from a multi-dog environment and is accustomed to getting along with other dogs but can get snarky over his food bowl. Kash is a very food-motivated dog. Kash is timid in new situations and with new people and needs a little time to get to know you. Once Kash gets to know you he's ready to be your bestie. If you'd like to meet this adorable boy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet little Kash at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
