Dog Breed: Boxer. 7/20/25 Penny IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Penelope IV, or as my family likes to call me "Penny"! I am a beautiful 6.5 year old flashy sealed brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to my family moving out of state and unable to take me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! I do not live with other dogs but get along well with them in open play environments and am very social! I am not as friendly with other dogs when on leash due to being attacked during a walk by 2 stray dogs previously. I am said to be kid friendly and currently live with an 18-year-old. I have never lived with a cat and like to chase bunnies, so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep in my crate. If the humans must be away, I am fine being alone for up to 6 hours and if it is longer than that, I seek to find treasures in the trash can. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am not a fan of fireworks or extreme storms and will crate myself or stay with the humans. Some of my favorite things are doggy daycare, riding in the car, belly rubs, butt scratches, playing outside, walks during cooler weather, sunbathing, apples slices, and peanut butter!
