Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Rocky is an older pittie and serving full-on retired grandpa energy with soft eyes and slow walks. Honestly, who wouldn't want to stay out and soak up the sun a little longer? Saved by a wonderful foster, Rocky is thriving! He is super sweet, loves cuddles and rubs, and absolutely adores his stuffies. His ultimate retirement plan? Lounging in the sun for hours with his favorite humans nearby. He would love to audition for The Golden Bachelor: Dog Edition. Rocky gets along great with other dogs, though big zoomie huskies aren't really his vibe! Gentle, easygoing, and endlessly lovable, he's ready for a quiet, loving home where snacks, cuddles, and sunny naps are part of the daily routine. Soft, loyal, and low-key goofy, Rocky is living his best golden years and he's ready to steal your heart. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Temperamentally, a well-socialized APBT is often described as loyal, affectionate, and people-oriented, displaying a playful and sometimes clownish demeanor. They can be excellent family companions, provided they receive consistent training and early socialization, though their high energy levels mean they thrive with active owners. While they can adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise, a house with a secure yard is often preferred.
