This beautiful 1-year-old girl is a unique mix of Chinese Shar Pei and Chihuahua — and she’s got the soulful eyes and adorable ears to prove it! At 37 pounds, Sapote is the perfect in-between size — not too big, not too small — just right for strolls through the neighborhood or lounging by your side. Sapote loves going for walks and sniffing around the yard, taking in all the sights and smells. She’s joined our shelter playgroups and, while she’s not quite ready to jump into the fun yet, she’s taking it all in and learning from the sidelines. With time, patience, and a little encouragement, we know she’ll blossom. What Sapote wants most is a loving home where she can feel safe, build trust, and be showered with the affection she so deserves.
