People, dogs, toys, food, treats—Dale is here for it all. With his friendly temperament and playful spirit, he’s always ready to make new friends and dive into fun. He's even lived with young children and was very gentle! This energetic boy can run and play all day, making him a great jogging partner or playmate for an active family. But don’t worry—he’s also skilled at keeping himself entertained with toys or a bully stick while you’re busy teleworking. At night, Dale is a champ in his crate, sleeping soundly without a peep. Dale has come a long way with his household manners, though he should still be supervised. He's food-motivated, a quick learner and eager to please which has made him a quick study. True to his beagle nature, he follows his nose wherever it leads, whether it's to the long-forgotten crumbs under the couch or chasing squirrels in the park. He does well with dog-savvy kitties that don’t run from him, too. Overall, Dale is a very good boy who’s ready to thrive with an active family that can keep up with his zest for life and shower him with love. He loves being outside and gets particularly excited about walks/hikes in nature. He has a really wonderful temperament and will make his family very happy. What One of Our Volunteers Said About Their Day Out with Dale: I walked Dale this afternoon and he was great! We took him on a car ride and he enjoyed our backyard and a little walk in the neighborhood. He was interested in everything but easy to redirect on the leash. He was so eager to be friends with our neighbor's dog and clearly wanted to play with him. He’ll be a great dog for any family! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
