The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application first by visiting our website at .dachshundpaws Junebug, born May 5th, is an adorable little Chihuahua. Junebug was born in the rescue, when we took in a pregnant Chihuahua from someone who lost their home and could not keep their dogs. June bug weighs about 4 pounds. She loves to play, run around like a wind-up toy, and she especially loves water. She will jump in the doggie pool and splash around. Junebug is great with dogs and cats. Junebug is ready to find her new family. Junebug's adoption fee is $300 plus a $200 spay deposit. The $200 spay deposit will be returned once proof of spay is sent to the rescue. We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found. Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing.
