I’m just a little over 1 year old, and every day I’m learning how wonderful life can be—especially when kind humans are part of it! At first, I might hang back a little (I’ve been through a lot, you know?), but if you give me a little time (and snacks), I’ll be right by your side, ready to snuggle, follow you around, and even rest my head in your lap. I already know all the basics like sit, down, wait, shake—and I’m house trained, too! I use a doggy door like a pro, and I’m learning that my crate isn’t so bad after all—it just takes me a minute to settle in. I’ve discovered that people are actually pretty great, especially the gentle ones who give me the love I need to feel safe. With that kind of commitment, I know I can be the very best companion. I’ve got lots of playful energy, so if you have another friendly pup at home, I’d love a playmate. But honestly? I’d also be totally happy getting all the love to myself!
