This 7-year-old Chihuahua mix came from the Riverside shelter right before the Fourth of July—just in time for a second chance. Seniors don’t stand much of a chance in overcrowded shelters, but Millie’s journey wasn’t over yet. She’s calm, quiet, and incredibly loving—definitely not your typical yappy Chi! Millie’s favorite place is snuggled up right beside you, soaking up all the affection she can get. She’s great with other dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, is fully potty trained, and even crate trained (though she doesn’t need it—she’s perfectly behaved when left alone). Millie has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for a soft spot to land.
