Description

Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 315.00. Tudd is equal parts sweet, smart, and stoic. He loves to cuddle but is also perfectly happy playing or lounging outside on his own. At night, he settles into his crate quietly and without fuss. He’s a confident little guy who isn’t easily fazed! Tudd gets along wonderfully with other dogs—he loves wrestling with his brother Louie but also respects the boundaries of his foster’s older dogs. He hasn’t met any cats while in our care. He’s picking up on potty training and doing well so far. Tudd is also good with kids and especially loves to chase and play with his foster’s six-year-old nieces. Like a classic Lab, Tudd tries to eat everything. Even in a dog-proofed home, he finds things! His future family will need to be extremely vigilant about keeping items out of reach to help prevent medical issues from swallowing things he shouldn’t. Tudd is an amazing puppy, but he needs a home that understands and can manage this behavior. Tudd came into our care in June after being rescued from one of the South Dakota reservations. He’s now looking for a loving forever family to help him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.
