Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat). Meet Enzo! This little pup has the most adorable face - how can you not fall in love with him! Enzo is around 10 weeks old and weighs about 6-7 lbs now. He will likely grow to be a medium size dog, around 35-40 lbs, when full grown. We're not sure what his breed mix is but he is a whole lot of cuteness. Enzo is a good puppy. He has a lovely temperament and is a social boy. Of course he is a puppy and puppies come with sharp teeth and mouthiness, which is totally normal. He is learning leash skills and some basic commands in his foster home. We would love to see Enzo in a home with a yard and kids over 8. Enzo has received his first puppy vaccinations. He will be neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
