Description
Dog Breed: Sheep Dog / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Hi I’m Dwight, I know I’m cute! I am a 5 month old Sheepadoodle puppy weighing about 35lbs. I have started crate training and do pretty well for the most part, I love belly rubs, relaxing with humans, and I absolutely love sunbathing outside. If you are looking for a social laid back puppy I am your dude! I have started learning a few commands like, “sit”, “come”, and “kennel”. I am very treat motivated and love to please my people. I am good with all adults and I love toddlers and babies, but I will be a very big guy, so older kids or kids that are comfortable with dogs would be best for me! I am still a very young puppy and love to learn and can’t wait to learn more! If I sound like a good fit for your home or you would like to meet me you can apply at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
