Dog Breed: Spaniel / American Eskimo Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Welcome Meeko! He is about 5 years old and weighs 14 pounds. We don't know his breed and we are limited in what breeds we can choose so we think he resembles a Spaniel type dog. He was turned in to a city shelter as a stray. This handsome boy has a silky coat of beautiful soft fur that will require regular grooming. Meeko does exhibit some energy at first, but after his excitement dies down he is happy to be by your side. Meeko is great with other dogs and we prefer he go to a home with another dog. We have not had Meeko around cats. He also seems to be fine around children, however we prefer a home with children over 7-8 years old.
