Dog Breed: Terrier / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Mixed (short coat). Meet Finch! This big boy is loyal and a serious hugger. Like, it might be an issue. After what he has been through, he just needs some hugs. You see he was left abandoned in a “home” if you can call it that. There were a few other dogs and they all ran away, but not Finch. Nope. He is loyal and faithful and he stayed behind thinking his people would come back. They never did and that is how he ended up in the shelter. At first he was terrified and would flip over and cower anytime someone tried to walk him. Over the past week he has developed some comfort and confidence and enjoys trips outside. He is gentle and oh so sweet with children and seems curious about other dogs. Finch is in a very small rural shelter in North Georgia and needs out soon so they can have space to help other dogs. He could be your soulmate dog. He is a very special boy who needs your loving… Come meet him ASAP
