He is the cutest little shadow, medium to low energy, just wants to cuddle with you under the blankets as often as possible. He’s dog and cat friendly. I do think young kids would be a lot for him! Beard is a gentle cuddle bug with a lot of love to give. He came from a hoarding situation, where he lived with other small dogs. Beard absolutely loves to snuggle and will happily curl up in your lap for a nap. He thrives on affection and will even let out a little squeal when he wants your attention! He's currently working on potty training and is doing well using potty pads consistently. Beard doesn’t seem very familiar with the outdoors, so it’s likely that he’s spent most of his life inside. A patient adopter who can gently introduce him to the world outside will help him continue to gain confidence at his own pace. Despite his rough beginnings, Beard is incredibly friendly, sweet-natured, and gentle. He’s also good with cats, making him a great fit for a variety of quiet home environments.
