Loving, Loyal LAYLA Layla is a sweet and goofy miniature Aussie who is looking for a new forever home. She has a moderate energy level, enjoys exploring and meeting new people to pay attention to her Layla is so loyal that she’ll be your little Velcro baby who follows you all around the house & yard and wherever you go! Layla has a perfect, moderate energy level great for brisk or leisurely walks, but she is also so super chill she can lie at your feet for hours. Layla is good around other dogs and good around cats; we are looking for a more mature home for her but visiting children are welcome. Layla is still learning about the great, wide world. She comes from a home with 3 other dogs, but with senior owners who rarely took the dogs out of their crates. They were not neglected, but with the death of the husband, the wife reached out to us because she wasn’t really the caretaker of the dogs. Layla is still wonderfully sociable and interested in people and other animals. She’s sweet, cute and curious. Her newfound freedom in her foster home with her foster brother and her sister has been a very positive experience. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD. Please READ ALL of our info below BEFORE SENDING APPLICATION. We REQUIRE ALL adopters to wear a mask & gloves when picking up their pet, to insure that everyone is protected from unknowing exposure to COVID-19. THERE WILL BE ZERO ACCEPT IONS MADE.
