Dog Breed: Black Mouth Cur / Shepherd / Mixed. Meet Juniper is a 4.5 mo old, 25 lb Black Mouth Cur & Shepherd mix that is an amazing puppy looking for a home. She is a playful, affectionate, smart puppy, and loves to be a part of the action. She's got a cute little paddle tai that wags and wags! From her foster mom: Juniper has been such a great puppy to foster. when she first came to us she was a total bundle of hyperness and spaz, and in the past month and a half with us as she gets a little older, she's grown into puppyhood wonderfully. She has a really balanced amount of energy for a puppy - excited to play, gets the occasional zoomies, but understands when its time to settle down. When we go on outings, she's observant, wants to stay close, and happy to make friends with new dogs and people. She's even come to work with me a few time and would make a great office companion. She's house trained, will go to the door when she needs to be let out, and is dedicated to going to her favorite spots. She sleeps through the night in her crate, and crate training is going great when left alone at home for a few hours. She also does great in the car! As a puppy, Juniper will continue to need guidance, proper socialization experiences, and positive force-free training. She's going to make a fantastic addition to any home! Underdog puppies will have their spayed/neuter appointments covered by the rescue, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $400. She is being fostered in the SE Portland Area. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at underdogsrock/adopt-a-dog . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location or host the meet in your home and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and can be conducted virtually if necessary.
