Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua. I came into Pet Refuge quite sad because my former owner had passed away. It's taken a few months to come out of my shell. Now I am running in my foster mom's backyard and running up and down the stairs, even though I am a senior. I bark when I want to play, when I am hungry, and when I want to go out for potty. My foster mom keeps a pee pad by my bed at night just in case I need to use it. I can see you, but my hearing is a little limited. I get along with other dogs and cats. I need someone with a lot of love to give, patience, and rescue experience. DOB 2/10/12 12 Pounds I'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmasterpetrefuge to learn more about me or fill out an application at .petrefuge/adopt Pet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. We are a limited admission shelter that supports our local animals control facilities by helping take in the overflow of cats and dogs from their facilities. We also take in owner surrenders as space allows. Pet Refuge is a volunteer based shelter, learn more about us on our website - petrefuge or send an email to webmasterpetrefuge or leave a message at 574-231-1122. We are always recruiting new volunteers. Our volunteers work hard and also have family and jobs away from Pet Refuge, we ask for your patience in correspondence.

Breed overview

Chihuahua
Overview:
The Chihuahua is a tiny bundle of joy. Kids love him ' and for good reason. This breed seems always excited about something. They do best as an indoor dog, but they love to scamper around in the yard ' in suitable weather.
