This bold, bright, and bouncy little girl came into rescue as a stray with her mom and littermates—and from the beginning, she’s stood out as the spirited leader of the pack.With typical puppy energy and a hilarious dash of mischief, Frizzle is curious, intelligent, and always ready to play. She’s the instigator of wrestling matches, the first to bark when it's time to come out and explore, and the mastermind behind sneak attacks from behind the furniture. She’s also a total nap queen—because even the boldest explorers need rest! Frizzle is crate trained, does great in the car, and loves her toys (especially tug!). She communicates clearly when she wants something, and while she’s affectionate and social, she also has a streak of independence. She doesn’t need another dog, but she might thrive faster with an older canine role model to help show her the ropes. That said—Frizzle is not a pushover. She’s tough, growly (in a playful way!), and may be a bit much for very small kids or fragile pets. Like any baby, she needs guidance, structure, and plenty of positive redirection (plus chew toys!). She’ll benefit from puppy training, especially to help her learn how to play nicely with her furry friends. Frizzle will do best with an active family ready for the fun, patience, and joy of raising a smart and spunky puppy. She’s ready to learn, love, and grow into an incredible companion. Are you ready to meet your match? Frizzle is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/9 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9AM and 11AM. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
