Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Patterdale Terrier (Fell Terrier) / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Griffin is a happy, affectionate pup who’s always excited to see you — and he’s not shy about showing it with all the kisses! This sweet boy is gentle, extremely smart, and already showing signs of being a loyal little protector. While he’s called Griffin, he actually responds better to the nickname "My Little Chocolate" — and it suits him perfectly! He’s still a puppy, so he’s in that classic chewing phase (yes, even your hands if you let him!), but with a little guidance and plenty of chew toys, he’ll learn in no time. Griffin loves to entertain himself by tossing a ball around and jumping after it. On walks, he may bark at other dogs — but it’s all in good fun, hoping they’ll play with him. At night, he prefers not to be alone and may whine or bark if kenneled without his person nearby. He sleeps better when he knows you’re close. Griffin would thrive in a home with someone active who can keep up with his energy and enjoys couch cuddles when the day winds down. He’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, and he’s just waiting for someone to love him. Griffin is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/9 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9AM and 11AM. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
