Imagine the joy of getting 2 rescue puppies for your children when they are young and watching them grow up together making so many memories as a big happy family...fast forward 8 years later, the children are now grown up and going off to college...and the parents decide it is best to give the dogs back to the rescue, now young seniors taken away from the only family they have ever known and loved and trusted, because the parents do not want the responsibility anymore now that their dog walkers are leaving. True story. Meet Olive and Slinky. PLEASE consider them. They are the sweetest dogs and are even house trained so definetly not purebred dachshund ! They are great with people, kids, other pets. They are both healthy and just had dentals and updated vaccines. Very low maintenance and the most deserving .chapmansdox/adopt
