Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Mixed. *Breed experience (owned as an adult) will be required to adopt Tuffnut. He is NOT a livestock guardian dog and we will not be considering applications wanting him for that purpose* Meet Tuffnut! With his fluffy coat, soulful eyes, and big ol’ puppy paws, Tuffy is likely a mix of Great Pyrenees and Saint Bernard (though his exact lineage is unknown). He’s got the personality to match: sweet, mellow, playful, and deeply devoted. He also has some unique brindle coloring in his dark markings, which makes him extra special—this boy is a total head-turner! Tuffy is doing amazing in his foster home. He sleeps through the night in his crate, is getting the hang of potty training, and absolutely loves playing with his foster brothers. Tuffy would thrive in a forever home with another friendly dog—he’s happiest when he has a companion to play and cuddle with. He’s still a growing pup and will need a family ready to commit to training, socialization, and all the joys (and occasional chaos!) that come with raising a large-breed dog. But he’s already proving to be a fast learner and a total sweetheart. He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tuffnut is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT TUFFNUT!! .LuckyPupRescueSC The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.
