Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Available for Adoption! Juni is a 5-year-old, 11-lb terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She’s a social butterfly who adores people, especially kids, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. With her playful energy and sweet nature, Juni is a joy to be around. Whether she’s going for a walk, exploring the yard, or showing off her agility, Juni is happiest when she’s active and engaged. But don’t let her high energy fool you—she’s also a top-tier cuddler who would love nothing more than to snuggle up with her favorite person all day long. She forms strong bonds quickly and thrives in loving company. Juni is: crate trained, house trained, Spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, well-mannered (she rarely barks!) great with kids and other dogs. She’s also had some dental work in the past (a few teeth removed), but she tolerates brushing well and enjoys being groomed. Like many dogs, she can get a little anxious in new environments or during loud noises like thunderstorms—but even then, she remains calm and gentle. Juni is an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. She deserves a home that will cherish her as much as she will love them in return. If you’re looking for a cuddly, sweet, and energetic best friend, Juni might just be the perfect fit. If you're interested in giving Juni the loving home she deserves, please private message if interested!!

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
