Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Dachshund / Mixed (medium coat). MEET LEILA! My friends describe me as: Independant, Shy, Expressive Looking for a gentle soul who takes a bit of time to warm up, but is totally worth it? Leila was surrendered when her owner's health declined and they could no longer care for her. She hasn't been exposed to much during her first few years so the great big world is scary to a little girl like her. Once she feels safe with you she will be your friend for life. She would love to live in a low traffic home with teens or older kids only and won't mind if you need to leave her to her own devices since she is an independant girl, and she may even do well with another low-key pet at home as long as there is a slow introduction. Leila is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
