Dog Breed: Beagle. Blu is a little round beagle with a big personality and even bigger heart. He came to us after having a seizure, and his previous owner—wanting the best for him—realized they couldn’t be home enough in case another one happened. Since arriving, Blu hasn’t had another seizure, and after consulting with his vet, he doesn’t currently need medication. If he ever starts having more than two a month, he may need some, but for now, he’s doing just fine! Blu is great with other dogs and kids, and he’s a sweet, gentle soul who loves companionship. He’s got a playful side too—especially when it comes to the splash pad… but only when it’s turned off! Blu says absolutely no thank you to water in his face, but he’s all for a cool spot to lounge in on a warm day. If you're looking for a mellow, loving buddy with a little wiggle and a lot of charm, Blu might just be the perfect fit.
