Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Dachshund / Mixed. Griffin is a 16lbs sweet playful pup looking for a home of his very own. He loves going for walks and LOVES to train. His new family will need to continue with his training so he can be the best boy ever. He would do best in an adult only home as he works on his life skills. If you are ready for the coolest dude around, please fill out an application. Griffin would love to meet you! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogsccrcdogs with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at .ccrcdogs, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
