Thanks to a last-minute extension and a compassionate foster stepping up, Roscoe was given a second chance at life. Even though our rescue is stretched thin—out of space, fosters, and resources—we knew Roscoe deserved to live. Roscoe is a sweet, medium-energy pup who’s been thriving in his foster home for over a month. He’s fully potty trained and respects boundaries—he stays comfortably within a 4-foot wire fence without any attempts to escape. Roscoe has quickly adapted to daily routines like mealtime and bedtime. He sleeps soundly through the night, often curled up on the bed with his foster and the other dogs, knowing it’s time to rest—not play. He’s a playful spirit who loves to run like the wind during playtime, then happily settles in for naps throughout the day. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company. While we haven’t seen him around cats, his gentle nature suggests he could adapt with proper introductions. Roscoe is cautious around new people and may bark at first. But with patience and a calm approach, he warms up and reveals his affectionate side. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal—always by your side, ready to snuggle on the couch or follow you around the house. He’s comfortable in his kennel when needed, especially with a treat and a chew toy to keep him content. Roscoe is looking for a loving, patient home where he can continue to build confidence and share his big heart. His foster says, “This was my first time fostering. It will be difficult giving him up.
