At just 4 years old, Peach has already experienced more heartbreak than most dogs should—her beloved owner passed away, and though family stepped in to care for her temporarily, they are unable to keep her long term. Peach is housebroken, crate trained, and has excellent manners in the home. She’s gentle and playful with adults and gets along well with other dogs. She hasn’t had much exposure to children and can be a bit nervous around them, so a calm, adult-only home (or one with older, respectful kids) would likely be the best fit. What truly sets Peach apart is her deep affection for people. Even during the hardest moments—visiting her person in hospice—she greeted everyone with love, tail wags, and a hopeful heart. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room, just happy to be near someone who cares. Peach is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.
