Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet Moose – The Gentle Giant in the Making! Moose is a sweet, mellow Cane Corso puppy with a calm nature well beyond his young age. This handsome boy is the total package—gentle, loving, and easygoing. Moose is the kind of pup who wants nothing more than to be near his people, lounge with his dog friends, and soak up all the affection he can get. He would thrive in a home with another well-balanced dog to show him the ropes and give him confidence. Kids? Bonus! Moose is wonderful with respectful children and would make a loyal family companion. Because he’s a Corso, we are looking for a home with breed experience and the understanding that Moose will grow into a large, powerful adult dog who needs structure and love in equal measure. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the amazing home he deserves, please reach out—we can’t wait to see Moose thrive in the right environment. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
