Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Georgia! Meet Georgia, a tiny ball of chaos waiting to follow you around, explore the yard and the big wide world on walks, and snuggle like no tomorrow! Georgia is still a puppy in most ways. She is doing well with crate training but is still learning basic manners. She is always excited to see humans and loves playing chase with the children 7+ in the home. Georgia loves to play fetch with stuffed toys and balls, but steals them and rolls all around with them instead of coming back! Georgia would do best in an active home where she will get daily sniffy walks and fun enrichment toys. She loves to explore the big backyard in her foster home, but being a yard dog is not enough for Miss Georgia. This princess wants to see the world. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Georgia is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT GEORGIA!! .LuckyPupRescueSC The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
