Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet Chato – a stunning fawn Cane Corso with the cutest little teddy bear ears you’ve ever seen! This boy is the total package: dog-friendly, people-loving, and an absolute water enthusiast. Whether it’s splashing in a kiddie pool or diving into a hose stream, Chato LOVES water and will happily turn any day into a pool party. Chato is playful, sweet, and adores spending time with his people. He’s great with other dogs and loves his toys almost as much as he loves a good cuddle. As for cats, he’s currently an unknown – he tends to sniff and walk away, so with proper introductions, he may be manageable. If you’re looking for a joyful, toy-chasing, water-loving companion with a heart of gold, Chato is your guy. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
