Dog Breed: Poodle (Toy) / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Poppy is a beautiful dog who is looking for a furever home. Poppy came to us from our owner surrender program. She was adopted from NJ shelter and when it wasn't a match, the shelter refused to take her back, likely due to lack of space. So she came to us instead. She is in foster here in NJ. Poppy shy initially but warms up quickly and loves her people! She also loves toys. She is dog friendly but doesn't seem overly playful yet. Poppy was not a match for her previous adopter since she was not great at apartment living. She is cat friendly and did well with older kids. Poppy is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
