She’s polite with everyone she meets, and her wonderful puppy manners make her an absolute joy to be around. About Brooke: Happy, Friendly & Social – Loves people, kids, cats, and other dogs. She is smart & Eager to Learn – Quick to pick up new things and eager to please. Brooke is Crate Trained – Lets you know when she needs to go potty, is Playful & Independent – Enjoys her toys and entertains herself, but checks in often. Making great progress with potty training, will need leash training – she is eager and ready to start. Beautiful Inside & Out – Calm, loving, and always happy. Brooke is looking for a home where she can continue to grow, learn, and be loved as much as she loves others. If you're looking for a gentle, playful, and affectionate companion—Brooke could be your perfect match! She has had a vet visit, is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 4, Rabies, & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. Your perfect adventure companion is waiting! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
