This charming boy is always ready to bring the fun—whether he's zooming around the yard, showing off his clumsy puppy legs, or keeping himself entertained with his favorite toy (he’s pretty independent that way!). Think of Billy as a real-life Scooby-Doo—silly, sweet, and endlessly entertaining. He's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, and he's learning fast as he grows into those adorable big paws. Adventure-Ready: Billy would thrive in an active home where he can tag along on hikes, camping trips, and family outings. Homebody Approved: He’s just as happy hanging out in the backyard with a ball or snuggling after a day of fun. Working on basic commands: come, sit, down, leave it, and off. Full of love, laughs, and loyalty. Billy is ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to a forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy sidekick, Billy is your guy! Crate trained and about 85% potty trained. Great with kids, cats, and all dogs. He has had a vet visit, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 4, Rabies & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
