He’s a playful and independent guy who loves everyone he meets—always ready to make new friends with a wagging tail and a paw to offer in friendship. Bobby is full of energy, charm, and personality. He’s goofy, loving, gentle, and well-behaved—just an all-around cool dog. He adores hugs, enjoys playing, can entertain himself and has a sweet, kind spirit that makes him a joy to be around. He is always ready and willing to go wherever his family goes. He’s currently learning basic commands like come, sit, shake/give paw, down, off, leave it, and stay—and he’s picking them up quickly! Bobby is crate trained , working on potty training, does great with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes, making him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. If you’re ready to welcome an affectionate, smart, and loyal friend into your life, Bobby is ready to steal your heart. He’s ready to love and be loved! He has had a vet visit, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 4, Rabies & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
