Hi! My name is Trooper! Just like my name, I go through life accepting things as they come without any fuss. I did great when my foster mom clipped off all the mats I had when I arrived at her house, and cooperated when the groomer made me pretty again. I don't fuss at other dogs and kinda do my own thing until I decide to play. I'm sweet, gentle, and a little timid, but oh, so affectionate and attention seeking in the best ways. Everyone says I'm the sweetest little dude who is neutral with other dogs and loving with humans. My foster mom says really excited small kids might be too much for me, but anyone who can let me approach on my own while I get used to them is my kind of person. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
