Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Hello, my name is Cowboy! I am an 8 month old male Lab that weighs approx. 45lbs. I was surrender to RAC due to my family no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for my FURever home! I am still young and learning. I walk well on leash and enjoy adventures with my people. I am crate trained and once I learn a schedule, I would be house trained in no time. I am a very smart boy! I do have a higher prey drive and am not going to do well in a home with smaller animals. I am looking for a home with older, respectful kids who understand how to interact with me. I am super tennis ball obsessed! I could probably chase one for hours if you let me! If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, rabies, microchip, boosters to date, and heartworm test. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
