Frankie can be shy and nervous at first but will warm right up to you. He is a wonderful little boy with a great love for his humans. He loves to be close to his human and is a master at giving kisses. As much as he loves affection, he also loves to play with his fellow fur friends. After a round of playing and running around, a nap next to his human is next. He loves attention and wants to be the first to get it. He is learning to take turns. He gets along well with both male and female dogs and cats are ok. Frankie loves mealtime and loves healthy treats. He also would like to eat what you are eating, and he can be quite persistent. He is learning manners. He occasionally likes to play with a toy but would rather wrestle with a fur sibling. (Check out his video.) He is a snuggle bunny and a best friend. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund’s back or get bitten. There will be an additional $60 fee added for a required Health Certificate if traveling out of the state in which they are being fostered.
