STARBUCK - BEAGLE / MIXED DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Beagle / Mixed. Starbuck Is an affectionate boy with lots of kisses to give. He would very much like a family who wants a snuggler like him. He has done very well In his Louisiana foster home. He gets along fine with other dogs and can be quite playful. He does get a little tense when meeting other dogs bigger than him or dominant males but has handled himself well on those occasions. He's clearly a beagle mix and we can tell that not only by his looks but how slow he eats! Starbuck likes to play fetch and enjoys his toys but he hasn't shown any destructive behaviors. He has also made straight A's in house training, except some initial marking on his very first day. His foster family does crate him when they are both away from home and he tolerates it well. Starbuck tested positive for heartworms. His treatment is scheduled soon and we expect him to do well. He will be coming to Florida at the end of August.
