Dog Breed: Bearded Collie / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). CROW HAS NOT COMPLETED HIS VETTING AND WILL NOT BE NEUTERED UNTIL 09/23/2025. APPLICATIONS ARE ONLY BEING ACCEPTED FROM WITHIN A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL AFTER HE HAS BEEN NEUTERED. Crow is a male, approximate 8 lbs., Bearded Collie mix puppy born in our rescue on June 2, 2025. He will be 10 weeks old on August 11. Crow is a sweet little boy that loves playing with other dogs and toys. He is still young so needs to work on house training and kennel training. Crow and his sister Starling are in a foster home with a teenaged girl and a crew of male & female siblings helping them learn the ropes! Crow is the sweet cuddler of the two and likes nothing better than to sit with you, roll on his back and accept tummy scratches and chin rubs. He is never far from his sister and is a bit on the unsure side, often following his sister into adventures he might otherwise pass on. Foster mom has nicknamed him “Whizzer” - needless to say potty training is challenging! His momma is 35 lbs., and we don't know who daddy is, but we expect Crow to be a medium sized dog full grown, likely under 45 lbs. Crow will do well with dogs, cats, and kids with supervised introductions, training, and experience.
