Description
Dog Breed: Siberian Husky (medium coat). Picture a mass of snow falling down a mountain slope. Then picture our Avalanche, of the hypnotizing ice-blue eyes, leaping and running down the ski slope with you! Or pulling you up!! All agree she is a total sweetheart. Our volunteers love walking her. She revels in rolling in the grass. An incredibly gentle treat-taker. Jumped right into the car, ready to go. She's a strong puller (we're working on it) but that makes her a great skateboarding buddy... Come and meet this young, strong, beauty... All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Breed overview

Siberian Husky
A.K.A.: Chukcha, Chuksha
Overview:
The Siberian Husky is very similar in looks to the Alaskan Malamute, yet somewhat smaller in build and not quite as bold. Still, he needs a strong-willed owner who will stay in control. This dog loves to roam and explore, so he needs a nice big yard.
