Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Pomeranian / Mixed (medium coat). Little Churro is a handsome boy who is looking for a home! Little Churro came to us as part of our NJ owner surrender program. He is with a temporary foster but needs a foster ASAP! Nigel and Little Churro have lived together since they were puppies and they clearly love each other. We would love to find them a home together but we will consider separate homes if that is their best opportunity for their new life, especially if there is another dog friend in the home. These boys are shy for a hot second but they warm up nicely. They love to run and play and snuggle and they are always together. They seem to be mostly housebroken and they like other dogs. They are cat friendly too. Nigel and Little Churro have received their rabies, DHPP and bordetella vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. We are working to get them fixed asap. Little Churro's adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
