Dog Breed: Boxer. 8/10/2025 Caramelo is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Caramelo! I am a handsome 5 month old brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to being found as a stray and my caretaker unable to keep me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, obedient, and affectionate! I am a puppy with puppy-like tendencies. When playing with other dogs I do not know how to take corrections from them and like to be where they are! I live with two resident dogs and love them but am too much for them given my play style and activity level. I take joy out of chasing cats because I want to play with them. I love people and get excited and because of my strength, it would be easy for me to accidentally knock someone down but I mean no harm! There are no children in my current home so a proper introduction of dog savvy kids would be great! I know "sit", am crate trained, but would need assistance with house training manners in my forever home. At night I sleep in my kennel and if the humans must be away and I am left alone, I am crated but will magically make any bedding in it with me explode. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. After I go for a walk I do not like to go inside and would rather stay outside to lay down or sit in the sun! Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, wrestling with others, sunshine, food, rope toys, giving kisses, and barking for attention!
