Description
Dog Breed: Black Labrador Retriever / Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed (short coat). Meet Bear – the lovable goofball you never knew you needed! At just 2.5 years young, Bear is the perfect combo of zoomies and Zzz’s. He’s got energy for playtime, but when the sun goes down, he transforms into a calm, snuggly couch potato. ️ He’s crate trained (aka sleeps like a pro), great with adults, kids, and even other animals—he’s basically everyone’s favorite furry roommate. ♂️ Bear thrives on attention. Ear rubs? Yes. Belly scratches? Double yes. Talking to him like he’s a tiny human? He’s here for it. If you’re looking for a best friend who brings joy, giggles, and the occasional zoomie tornado into your life—Bear’s your guy. Adopt Bear. Your heart (and your couch) will thank you. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
