Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Meet Coffee Bean! This sweet, lovable pup has a heart as big as his adorable ears! Coffee Bean—affectionately known as Mr. Bean or Mr. Wiggles—is a 6-8 month old, 14 lb Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a friendly puppy personality and endless charm. Full of wiggles and excitement over just about everything, Coffee Bean is crate trained, about 95% house trained, and already learning basic commands like “sit.” He still has some typical puppy behaviors, including occasional mouthing when overly excited, so a home with older children would be best while he continues to learn his manners. That said, he loves kids and has done well with all ages. Coffee Bean’s favorite thing in the world? Toys! He’ll entertain himself to sleep with his toy stash but is also thrilled to play with other dogs—big or small. He’s a true social butterfly and would thrive as a second dog in a home with canine companions, but he'd also do just fine as the only pup so long as he has loving humans around. His foster says he jumped right in with their two dogs and other foster pup without missing a beat. This boy has medium energy—he enjoys a couple of short walks a day and some yard time to sniff around, then spends most of the day chilling with his toys or cuddling on the couch. Coffee Bean is also fine being crated during a typical workday and has minimal grooming needs. At the end of the day, Coffee Bean is a quick learner, a happy-go-lucky companion, and a total snuggle bug who loves to curl up with his people. Whether you're looking for your first dog or a buddy for your current pup, Coffee Bean could be your perfect match. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
