Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever (short coat). Meet Misty! Misty is a 3.5 year old former breeder momma who is now retired and looking for a home to call her own. Misty would enjoy an active family that will give her daily walks and play fetch with her. She will also need a patient family who is willing to work with her on basic training. She is food motivated and has been easy to train so far in foster care, but she has some puppy behaviors that still need some work. She needs a family that will make her feel safe and loved as she transitions from farm dog to family member. Misty will require a fence as she does not potty on leash. Misty looks to the resident dogs and follows their lead. She is more confident with them around and should have another dog in her forever home. Misty is very playful, so the resident dog should be ready to romp with her. Could you be Misty's forever family?
