With the lowest energy level in the pack, he tends to stay with me during walks instead of running ahead with the other dogs. He has a fondness for rolling in the grass and sniffing everything around him. Due to his inability to hear, Mikey relies more heavily on his senses of smell and sight than his littermates. Mikey is currently learning to walk on a leash and sleep in a crate. When we travel, he falls asleep in his crate as soon as the car starts moving. As he cannot hear, his training will require specialized methods. He is learning a few basic hand signals and currently responds well to a signal to come.
