Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Jabba is an adorable pup who is looking for a new home. Jabba is with our rescue partner in Louisiana. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Jabba is a cute boy who loves to run and play and go on adventures. He is currently with our rescue partner at a volunteer run shelter. He does not love to be in his kennel - as is true for most dogs. So he bounces right out and tears up the play yard. But volunteers notice once he gets some energy out and/or gets off the shelter grounds on a walk or adventure, he calms right down and leans into his adventure! Jabba tested well meeting several dogs but he is a rough and tumbly kinda boy and we think he is a rough player so he is best suited for another pro-wrestler pup or perhaps on his own. He is a loving sweetie who is struggling to be a teenage puppy in the shelter. Jabba is fixed, microchipped and has received his initial puppy vaccines and treatment for parasites. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
